RE: IML: 1960 fuel pump

Thanks to everyone for responding.  I read the info on the site about the actuating plunger but forgot about that.....should have looked again before I started the install.

I was primarily curious if anyone else had used the same NAPA part numbered fuel pump in a 1960, just to verify if the M3672 will work.  I'm relying on NAPA's books which so far have been spot-on.  I noticed a couple of the part numbers for brake parts on the OIC site don't correspond to what I've ordered from NAPA, hence the inquiry.

I'm headed North for a few days so I won't even be able to get back to the car until late next week.  I either have plenty of time but not parts/money, or the parts but no time.

I'm installing a new fuel pump from NAPA, their part number M3672.  Does anyone know if this is the correct one for a 1960?  Am having trouble getting it installed, lining up the bolts has been a headache.  Or perhaps I need to turn the engine a bit?
