Despite the code, my car does have the 50/50 buckets with the center bolster, just like yours, David.
The odd thing about that code analysis is that my seats are leather/vinyl with no cloth whatsoever. The large sections of each seat are the high grade leather (I know because it has torn in places so that I can see underneath) and the outer sections are vinyl (same idea).
And yes, my car is a 1966 model year, so its probably an 'end of the season' trim package from '65. The color code is also black exterior, and the gold interior.
And for the record, my PVC is also on the passenger valve and a breather cap on the driver cover (440 engine with AC).

A '66 Coupe with bench seats? I thought they all had 50/50 "buckets" like mine with separate tracks and motors.
M = Trim Grade - Medium 9 = Seat Type & Upholstrey - Bench seat - cloth & vinyl L =- Colour - No "L" for 1966, but in 1965 it was Gold & Black

My tag say my '66 Coupe's trim code is M9L but I cannot find a resource to tell me what that means. My interior is very sunbaked and I am getting quotes and samples from online vendors. Can someone decode it for me? Thanks
