Self-Introduction: I've been viisiting the Imperial Online website on and 
off for the past few years and have found tons of valuable information about

these vehicles, both statistically and informative from it's members.

In September 2005, I was looking at the classified section and found the car

I had been searching for, just 400 miles away in Minnesota.
A 1972 2 door LeBaron. When the previous owner and me met, the condition of 
this car was in much better shape than I had anticipated, especially for 
being from a climate of snow and salted roads.
Needless to say I bought the car on the spot for a fair price and drove back

towards Chicago without a hitch except a flat tire.

Eventhough the LeBaron was in good running condition, it was time for an 
engine overhaul. The car had clocked roughly 74000 miles on it before I got 
it, was leaking oil and a little tranny fluid. I made the decision to pull 
the motor and do a complete rebuild. Afterall, this car is 34 years old and 
it was time for some attention.

I plan on posting pic's in the near future on this site that will include 
the engine rebuild when all is completed.

I look forward to hearing from other Imperialists via e-mail, and hope to be

able to make it to an Imperial gathering or two down the road.
