HI ALL, I ONCE BOUGHT A '60 CHEVY WITH A 283 THAT WAS FLAT STUCK!!! I FILLED THE CYLINDERS WITH MARVEL MYSTERY OIL AND WAITED DAYS. NOTHING. AFTER A FEW MORE DAYS, I TRIED IT AND IT CLICKED. AFTER A FEW MORE DAYS IT WENT CLICK, CLICK, CLICK. AFTER A FEW MORE DAYS, IT CRANKED A TIME OR TWO. AFTER A FEW MORE DAYS, IT TURNED OVER SLOWLY, AND SOON BEGAN TO TURN OVER PROPERLY. WE (MY SON AND I) ADDED FUEL AND SPARK AND, YEP, IT FIRED! HE THEN TOOK IT OUT OF THE '60 AND PUT IT IN HIS '68 CHEVELLE, WHICH HE RAN TO DEATH.. IT LASTED FOR ABOUT A YEAR, AND FINALLY PUKED--BUT GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES, A NEW MOTOR PROBABLY WOULD HAVE PUKED ALSO! THE CHEVELLE NOW HAS A 406 SMALL BLOCK , A 471 BLOWER, AND NITROUS SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT I MEAN! DON'T GIVE UP ON THE STUCK MOTOR UNTIL YOU HAVE TO.
