If the second chance offer is only in your email in-box and not in "my ebay" then it is a fraud. I receive fraudulant "phishing" emails all the time. Once you get the hang of it, they are easy to spot. The ones involving ebay can be sent to their investigators. The companies that are mimicked in these have absolutely nothing to do with them and have NO responsibility for losses incurred.
Yes, folks, even us wise Imperial owners can be suckered once in a while. If it happens to you, pile the family into your Imperial and go get an ice cream cone. It will make you feel better. If it happens to be cold outside, you should have hot chocolate instead.
By the way, if someone on Ebay doesn't take Paypal, I don't do business with them, unless I personally know who they are.

One of the things to do when Purchasing on E Bay is to use Pay Pal. That adds a margin of safety to any purchase. Wiring money Via Western Union or any other means leaves you open to a scam, such as the case Jerry mentioned with his brother. As always if it sounds to good it probably isn't 99% of E bay sellers use Pay Pal.
