For an interesting read on the 53 Imperial limo, try Bob Stubenrauch's 1984 
book, Restore and Driave: Collectible Cars of Postwar America. There is a 
six page section on this car, with excellent black and white photos.

This '53 limo was originally owned by Cardinal Cushman of Boston. It has a 
specially fitted reading light in the back for the Cardinal, by the way. The 
pictures reminded me that the '53 limo still has the '49 body from the A 
pillar back. But the front cap is pure '53, including the one piece 
windshield.

The book is out of print, but maybe amazon or someone on line may have it.
