IML: Braking Distances

Hi -

Thanks for the note about the numerous articles posted 
on the website.  Didn't someone ask about Imperial 
braking distances a few weeks ago?  One of the 
magazines, perhaps Motor Trend for '65 or '66, 
reported 185 feet from 60 mph.  I believe 
current "good" distances are less than 130 feet, but 
perhaps some Internet research can turn up other 5000+ 
lbs vehicles stopping distances for comparison.
