IML: Messages bouncing regarding 67-69 turn signal switch discussion

This is a repeat of two messages I sent to the mailing list earlier today;
both bounced back to me as undeliverable.  Either something has gone wrong
at the server, or in my system.  If you're reading this, it was a temporary
glitch somewhere.

1.  Regarding jsadowski's thought that some GM cars probably used the same
switch:

Good point - it would probably be on a luxury car, because of the cornering
lights, so that narrows the field considerably.   Anyone have a Cadillac or
a top of the line Olds or Buick from the late 60s?  If you do, and have a
turn signal switch in any condition, take a picture of it and send it to me
privately - I'll compare it with the one used on our cars.  

I don't recall hearing of the common failure that we all suffer occurring on
GM cars, though - and I've had 3 68-70 such GM cars; all were fine in that
respect. As I recall, however, the steering column was identical for the 68
Buick '225' I had.  The 69 and 70 Cadillac Coupe deVilles were of course
different, because of the ignition switch in the column, but it may have had
the same turn signal switch - the operation of the tilt and telescope option
was identical for all 3 of them.

2.  Regarding the stamped number helping to identify which other cars may
have used it:

I will dig out my spare new one to see if I can find a stamped number on it,
and report to the list.
