On the 66 split front seats, you can also unbolt the seat from the tracks if 
you don't have a need to remove the tracks also. Even if you want to also 
remove the tracks, the seat is a heck of a lot easier to handle minus the 
track. This can be done from the rear of the seats. There are 4 studs in the 
track for each seat. The benefits here are that there is usually no rust on 
these & they will loosen right up without breaking.
