IML: Deformed Mufflers

Pete.  I know from where you speak regarding your newly deformed muffler. 
Have a look at what a backfire did to the muffler on my 77 New Yorker a 
couple years ago.

As you state.  This backfire was extremely impressive.  So much so that it 
blew the little shield and lions emblems off two of the hub caps!
