Re: IML: '82 Sinatra w/ Moonroof?

The Frank Sinatra Edition was a special trim package complete with an 8-track player. And what would you play on this wonderful device? A collection of Frank Sinatra 8-tracks included with the package. It was the silliest marketing gimmick since the 1955 Dodge LaFemme. I guess they will be collectible some day, but then again, so will be Plymouth Volares and Dodge Aspens. Remember the snowballs in hell. Pickem'up while you can. Happy Imperialing folks!

It's dumb girl question time...

So, what makes an Imperial a Frank Sinatra Edition? Is it because it's blue
like Frank's eyes? Really, I don't have a clue.

I wonder why the seller gave up on restoring it.

Hey Folks:

Happy Turkey Sandwich Day. There's an '82 Sinatra Edition on Ebay (Auction
No. 4593130287) that has a moonroof. In my reading of IML emails over the
past two years, I thought only the '81 had a moonroof option.

Am I wrong, was the moonroof offered in '82? Is the car advertised
improperly (i.e. is it an '81) or perhaps this is an aftermarket roof? Too
bad it's in pretty poor shape.

Just curious. The link is pasted in below.
