The VIN tells us it is indeed an 82. There are visual clues also, but the VIN is pretty definitive. The factory moonroof option in 1981 is just about identical to the most popular aftermarket moonroof (ASC) from those years, so other than the switch on the dash, I doubt it would be easy to tell which is on the car. Unfortunately, I can't make out the roof switch in the blurry pictures posted in the ad.
