They make the best headers for Mopars. I am running their headers and dual 2.5” exhaust on my ’68 Barracuda, and their 2.5” kit from factory manifolds on my wife’s Challenger. The product is very well made. Good hangers, solid design, tight fit.
The warping usually happens at the flange where the headers attach to the cylinder head. The lower cost headers use thin flanges, and they will warp from the heat over time. TTI uses 3/8” thick flanges. They also clearance the pipes so you can get a wrench on the bolts to actually tighten them down. Lower cost headers do not, possibly aiding the warping tendencies...
Other warping may occur at the collector outlet. This can be equally annoying, but somewhat easier to repair. I don’t remember how thick the collector flange is on my headers, but it’s thick. Probably from the same 3/8” stock as the head flange.
Doug Thorley also makes a quality header, but I do not know which name his current business has. He sold the original company years ago, but started another a little while back. It’s either Doug Thorley Headers, or Doug’s Headers. I haven’t used them myself, but know a few people who have. I spoke to him about 10 years ago about a Dart project I was working on. Even though he didn’t have a product I could use at the time, he was very helpful.
