So, I am at a "Lowe"cal home improvement center this afternoon after running a couple of errands in Gertrude when I realize that I needed to buy a couple of sticks of lumber to finish out the backyard green house.

 

Deep in thought inside the store and not remembering I was in the Imperial and not the F-250 SuperDuty, I load up the basket with a couple of 2x10x8 sticks and zip through the check out lane.

 

The minute I left the store I realize which vehicle I am driving.

 

Well, let me tell you something:  one can easily fit four 2x10x8 pieces of lumber, dashpad to package shelf with room to spare in a 1961 Imperial!

 

I LOVE this car!  Who needs the SuperDuty?  :-]

 

Y'all have a very Happy Thanksgiving.  If you're motoring to a loved ones house, be very careful.
