It depends on how cold for how long. A battery will slowly self
discharge over time and when the specific gravity falls to a point where
the electrolyte freezing point and the ambient temperature meet, game
over.
At full charge it will take -40 f. to freeze, at %50 charge it only
needs to fall to 0 f. to freeze it solid. Best idea is if in doubt take
it indoors and keep it warm and safe.
