Robert,
The manifold will bolt on just fine. The buyer (Joe six-pack?) will run into some trouble with the factory/reproduction filter housing clearing the back of A/C compressor (or possibly the A/C lines) depending on what base plate he uses. He may need to modify one. He’ll have to check to see what the smallest one is and work from there.
He will need the reproduction kickdown linkage for the trans, and probably for the throttle as well. All the parts are available for B-bodies, and should adapt well. If he’s mechanically inclined at all, it should be a fairly smooth conversion.
If I remember correctly, the numbers are cast into the passenger side of the block. The numbers stamped onto the block are on a machined pad near the distributor. At least I think that’s where they are, I haven’t had to look for them in a long time.

I have a guy interested in my 72 Imperial, however he wants to put a six pack system on it (don't ask). Anyway, apparently there is some question on if the 440 block in this car can take the six pack manifold. Is there some way to confirm this, or can anybody comment on this. Also, he wants me to get the serial number off the block, were would I find this, I have looked around but haven't been able to find it.
Thanks
