   These guys make a replacement solid-state unit for the sequential
signals. http://www.thuntek.net/cougars_unlimited/default.htm  If you want
to keep the original electro-mechanical setup, I bet Lowell Howe of one of
the other club members with salvage yards can supply the parts. There's a
relay up under the dash by the steering column that might have failed, too.
Taking the rear light clusters apart and cleaning all the contacts is
probably a good idea, my problems stemmed entirely from bad contacts. The
taillight units do come out, though they're a pain to get at - the mounting
bolts are up behind the bumper, you have to get them from under the car.
