My '56 Southampton Four Door has the felt window sweepers, aka cat whiskers. Some of them are in bad shape, and I have planned on replacing it with same thing. I purchased several lengths of the correct stuff many years ago, and will have to look for it before I can get started.

One of my '60 Imperial Sedans has rubber sweepers like those described here. They look like they have been there since the car was built, but until I purchased that car over 25 years ago, every Imperial I ever had seen had the felt window sweepers. It would be interesting to know if these rubber sweepers were factory installations, and if so, under what conditions they were selected instead of the felt.
