Our own Donald Dickinson's stunning 1955 Imperial Coupe in Canyon
Tan was the car shown on all publicity for the AACA Meet in Jeffersonville, IN
last Saturday. The logo was a striking image of the '55 with the skyline
of Louisville (just across the river) in the background. Donald's '55
looked as great in person as it did in the photos.
Also shown was the Swope's impressive 1938 Imperial Custom -- an
image of elegance for certain. 1938s are rare but this car is particularly
impressive in black.
Owners of both cars were a joy to talk with and did not seem to
mind my drooling over their cars.
Other Chrysler Corporation products included a rare DeSoto Airflow
coupe and a very nice 1931 Chrysler Roadster.
For you non-AACA IML member - AACA National Meets are always
open to the public for viewing but to enter a vehicle in an AACA National
Meet you must be an AACA Member. Point being when there is an ACA
National Meet near you - you are welcomed to come view the
cars.
THANKS AGAIN MR. DICKINSON & MR. SWOPE for sharing those
outstanding IMPERIALS !!!
