This is interesting! The '75 8-track is different from
the 8-track in my Dad's '78 NYB. His has the balance
slider on the radio face.

Looking at page 22 of the '75 Imperial owner's manual,
which you mentioned, it says that the left-right
blance is adjusted using a screw located in the tape
slot. I guess somebody at Chrysler didn't like people
messing with his stereo settings.

Have a look. I'm interested to know if the adjuster is
really there.
