The vinyl roof was standard on the LeBaron and optional on the Crown, which was not built after 1970. You won't find a 1969-73 LeBaron without a vinyl roof as it covers the insert used to fill the large Chrysler/Imperial Crown rear window to accept the smaller LeBaron glass. The 1960 LeBaron also used a filler, but as vinyl roofs were not available, Chrysler spent many man-hours using lead to fill the space around the filler piece to give the roof a one-piece look. If you stripped a LeBaron of its vinyl roof you would see the insert, which I believe is fibreglass, and the screws to hold it in place.
