My 1983 Imperial was built on 19 January, 1983, and it does not have the EFI
plates.

The part number for the "Electronic Fuel Injection" nameplate was 4229 445.
That number is not listed in the 1983 parts catalogue nor is it shown on the
exterior view in section 23 - Body - Exterior Ornamentation.

Also, the part number for the 1983 hood ornament (which was not crystal) is
listed as 4103 694 while the 1981-82 crystal unit is 4270 563.

The lack of EFI nameplate is another difference between 1983 and the 1981-82
models, it seems.

It should have the EFI plates below Imperial on the front fenders, wonder
where they are ?
