Marty, when you get to chroming, I recommend
Walker's Custom Chrome right near you in Shasta Lake City, at 2145 Grand Coulee
Blvd. 530-275-3634 I have used them rather often over the years
going back to when they were located in Vacaville. It's the Pine something
exit north of Redding. Go left over the fwy, take the right turne beyond
the south off ramp road, go about a half mile and go left on Grand
Coulee. Please use my name if you wish. You may already know of
them.
We used to travel to Anderson often as a restorer
was working on a car for us, a Ron Aaserude, so we've been very near you in Red
Bluff quite a few times. Maybe we'll get to see your beautiful 59 at some
time. At Kool April Nites??

Subject: IML: Penny looks great in new
glass
I had
the pleasure last week on meeting Lowel Howe down in his salvage yard in
Patterson Ca. Lowel hooked me up with the correct 1/4 glass I've been looking
for for years and a windshield glass that could nor have looked better if it
were new. The restoration has been going great and all body work will be done
soon. Paint is right around the corner. The rubber from Gary Goers also looks
great. The engine will soon come out for a top to bottom redo as well
as the suspension and brakes. I hope to be down to chroming and interior
in a few months. My mechanic Bill Rice has done a fantastic job on the car so
far and has the same passion for it as me. I had to call Lowel and tell him
how happy I was with the glass I got from him.
