IML: Not All Are Scammers

In defense of legitimate buyers overseas, I just wanted to point out that not all buyers from Europe or elsewhere are scam artists. I have sold 2 of my cars to buyers in Sweden and Norway. Imperials and "big ol' Chryslers" are very popular over there.

Legitimate buyers are not hard to spot. They're usually quite willing to answer any question you ask, they ask plenty of questions themselves, and they are willing to pay you by whatever method YOU decide. Some of them will even pick up the phone and call you.

My only point is, don't be automatically turned off by a potential buyer just because they're from another country; it really isn't that hard to cull the wheat from the chaff if you use common sense and caution.
