Mike,
This year I think I'll be bringing a cake of some type rather than
meat - a good meal always ends with dessert. I like the idea of beer/
wine but don't recall what they allow. If alcohol is permitted, I'd
suggest a bottle or two of champagne would be more appropriate to our
Imperials. Leave the beer to the muscle car crowd. :-)

for free. Mike, are we aranging a B-BQUE ???? I'm
thinking about bringing
my Pickup, so do we want a gas grille ??? And how
Last year I brought my grill, which I plan on doing
again, and Dave was going to bring his grill, too. We
had a spectacular BBQ last year- Fillet Mignon,
Chicken, London Broil, plus your more pedestrian hots
and burgers. This year promises to be even better.
It worked out well last year with everyone bringing
some meat and/or a dish to pass. My slogan was: "You
bring the meat, I'll bring the heat!" I also picked
up about 10 pounds of NY strip steaks that are on ice
right now, awaiting the big dance. Someone should be
in charge of paper plates and plastic ware, napkins,
and other non-food essentials.
I forget what time we did it last year. I know it was
on Saturday; I think we did it as kind of an afternoon
lunch type thing, like around 3 or 4? Anyone
remember? And who's going to get the BEER this
year??? ;)
