Re: IML: 62 Imperial Right Hand Mirror Location

When I put on my right hand mirror I just measured the distances to the screw holes on the driver side mirror and transfered those mesurements to the right.  Worked perfect, good luck! measuring from two fixed spots to the same hole guarantees you will get the right spot through triangulation.  Measure three or four times just to be positive.  I am sure you know all this but endulge me.  be sure to mark you spots with some type of tape and drill through the tape, this will reduce chipping of the paint and put a dab of paint ( or some other type of sealer) on the hole to reduce rust at that point.

Subject: IML: 62 Imperial Right Hand Mirror Location

Hi to All;  Well now that is warm here in the Detroit area I'm working on my 62 Imp. I'm putting on a R/H Mirror on My Imp. .   I need to know the location of the mounting screws for the Right Hand Side Outside Mirror.  What is the distance for the front screw, from the fender opening to the center of the front screw?   And what is the distance from the rear screw to the fender/door opening ?     (to the 1/16 inch if you could). Us Tool & Diemakers get carried away with Exact Dimensions Sometimes!
 Thanks:  Dave V.B.
