Brad, My car had its brakes, as far as i know, replaced under the warranty replacement program. It went from the Hydroboost-wannabe-Bendix system to a standard system + Bosch ABS unit. Meaning, instead of having no brakes when the unit fails, you just loose ABS functionality, because there is a regular master cylinder and power booster driving your brakes. I was in the junkyard earlier today picking up a new front end for my '90 (read all about it in the post i'm typing next...) and saw the system. I'm not really sure what Chrysler was thinking putting something quite like that in their cars, the unit just /looks/ problematic... -Jason PS, I'll find out for sure when I have time to pop over to the place that did the work whether they replaced it from the program or not. I do know that it was replaced between trade-in from the previous owner, and when I bought it.
