If you ever find out the disease that causes you to hold onto a starter that 
has had "melted metal poured out of it onto the ground" for twenty years, 
please let me know.  It will let the doctors narrow down the tests for my 
diagnosis.  Sometimes it comes in handy.  My Dad bought our 'cuda new in 
1970.  He saved the original 15x7 steelies and dog dishes when he put 
Keystones, he saved the original points distributor and the carb when we 
replaced it.  He saved the spacesaver and the old fix-a-flat can holder ( I 
think he threw the original fix a flat can out, damn!)  The wheelwell 
moldings, you name it.  I used to think it was a bad thing, but if you check 
the e-bay prices on these things they cost more than he paid for his house 
and he bought that after the car.
