IML: The road to Mecca

Stuff's been very funky around here lately, and not
very focused on what I tend to come around looking
for. I'd like to hear a lot more about what people
are doing/have done with their cars. Someone MUST
have busted their knuckles on SOMETHING lately, right?

I just sold a 64 LeBaron to a guy in Saudi Arabia, and
he didn't even ask about using a cashier's check!
Hopefully he'll send photos of it cruising along on
that $0.25/gallon gas that I've heard that they have
over there. I asked him for a picture of it under a
roadsign to Mecca but he hasn't gotten back to me on
that one yet.

I'm overdue for an update to my project (will write
soon!), but how about you? Is your car up on the club
website on it's very own free page? Write to the
webmonsters at the club website and we'll set you up
just like that! All we need are some (good) photos
and whatever story lies behind your car.

I'm missing a bunch of brain cells, and maybe already
posted notice of this, but we recently got a really
killer article about the first true ABS equipped car:

Was it Mercedes or BMW?

NO!

Was it Cadillac or Rolls Royce?

NO!

Maybe Daewoo?

NO!
