The 70 years of Chrysler book shows a picture on pg.256 W/the following information. "Appearing only in 1947 & 1948 and only in the Windsor series was the Traveler sedan, which used as standard equipment a chrome & wood roof rack with laminated wood roof runners. The car also had a leather interior. This (the picture) is the 1947 version, some of which began to use hubcaps stamped with the Chrysler signature. The Traveler cost $1,846 in 1947, it jumped to $2,183 by 1948. It weighed 3,610 pounds. However, because it was a variation of the Windsor 6-passenger sedan, it's production figures were included with those of the sedan, and it is impossible to to ascertain exactly how many Travelers were built." No Imperial Travelers were built.
