IML: Impereial wire wheels available from Coker Tire

You can get wire wheels from Coker for your Imperial. If the '67 still has
the same bolt pattern at the '66 and previous.

Here is the link from when this came up previously:

I would like to get a set for my '66, but will have to wait till I can
afford them. I think they would look swell, and be able to better take the
radial tires we all, or most of us run these days. The older original rims
get little cracks in the weld, and in my experience anyway, the original
rims are getting harder to find. I also want to be sure to be able to have
a least some sort of security so people of "Questionable Character" don't
abscond with my wire rims thinking they can slap them on their Caddy,
Lincoln, Chubby, or Ford Truck for that matter!

Wire wheels were not offered for these cars. If you want to put them on
your car, you need to match not only the bolt circle and wheel width, but
the offset and the clearance hole for the hub, and be sure they will clear
the brake calipers.

You must also be prepared for people like me, who will be appalled at the
idea (but I'm an old fuddy duddy about originality)!

Hi All

Need information on wire wheels for a '67 Crown convertible with the
Budd disc brake system. According to the FSM the wheels size is 15 x 6JK
which is a 15 inch wheel with 9/16" studs on a 5 bolt 5" stud bolt circle.
Any information will be of great help.

Thanks
Ed Tiede/'67 convertible
