The question here is, do you hear a click when you activate the switch?  If yes,
then the switch must be working, since the relay is trying to respond.  Yes?

On my LeBaron, the passenger seal is stuck all together, but the click is
audible (fortunately, its stuck in an "average" position, so every passenger
seems to be happy, still, its a cool show off if the power seat works).  I
think the hammer solution may be for me, as I do not think the problem is
electrical.  Dick had advised me once to dissassemble completely, but D^2 is
too lazy for that!
