I experienced the same thing with the dimmer in my Barracuda. A couple
smacks with my left foot and the lights were back. That reminds me, I still
need to take a look at that switch...

I've had something similar with a dimmer switch failing. I'd also check the
bulkhead electrictrical connectors to make sure the metal ends are clean and
fit tight.

on the way home from Tampa airport last nite my '74 lights went off for
a split second; then came back on..several minutes later the same thing
happened..again back on in a second..it did it tonite as well..any hints
what is causing this? thanks!
