My 58 had a foil decal on the trunk
handle, put it in a baggy and damned if I can find it. As George replied to me
at one point seems kinda cheap for an Imperial but I
swear it was there. I think GG also supplies that decal on his repro trunk
handles. As to the eagle, it’s sort of like the fender eyebrows, looks
there should be something there but they somehow missed it.

Apropos of George's hood emblem
inserts, which look fabulous, did the eagle on the trunk also have an insert?
I have the 'toilet seat' style, where the eagle is quite different from the one
on the front. There is no insert in a space that looks suspiciously to me
as if there should be something there. Or, is it supposed to be empty?
