Glenn I've been trying to send you an e-mail for the last 3 or 4 days.? Every time I got on the computer, Candy would come into the room and tell me she had an emergency and I had to get off.? Anyway, I did receive the Petrolhead magazine about 4 days ago.? That's a super article.? Did you submit it?? The aarticle on the page before is pretty cool too.??Is the owner of the '59 one of your friends? I was hoping to get to see more of you in Tulsa, but I saw that you had a bunch of your friends with you so I understood that it would have been difficult for yu to get away.? Anyway, I'm gl;ad that you guys had a good time and maybe when you get back to the States in a couple of years we'll be able to see more of eachother.? I know one of your friends girl friends said she would like to get back here as quickly as she could.? Can't blame her.? Lot's of shit going on all the time.? I forgot her name.? Smallish, pretty one.? Texas is a hell of a state, isn't it?? The cars that this guy is selling are in different stages of being finished.? I know that the Fury is almost complete.? It does need a new partial trunk floor.? I haven't seen pictures yet, but when I get them I'll certainly send them to you. I haven't gotten the Tulsa DVD yet.? I'll give Dave a call and ask him send them to me.? I didn't get to Carlisle this year, but the Belvedere went to the?Meadow Brook Concours.? What a show.? Unreal cars.? It didn't win, but just the invite was super to get. I wasn't going to Chicago for Eldorado Brogham for me.? A friend of mine was looking at it.? He bought it.? The car is really a super specimen.? It cost him 100K.? Boy is it beautiful.? Recovered from Tulsa yet? I didn't get to spend much time with you. In fact there were dozens of people I didn't get to spend much time with. It was like being at your own party where you have 200 people there you know, and not enough time to do everything or see everyone. It pissed me off a bit-I wished it had been over 2 weeks-that would have almost been enough time. At times it felt like I was on a big conveyor belt just getting transported here there and everywhere, sometimes not where I wanted to be even. We missed the sock hop completely trying to please everyone for dinner, and in the end just let ourselves down. In fact I saw bugger all of the outside car show too. We plan on coming back again to Carlisle either next year or year after, and to see more of Texas. We LIKED Texas!!! Tell me more about these cars for sale-any pictures? If you haven't got Dave Stragands DVDs, I strongly suggest you buy them-they are awesome, better then my own that's for sure and well worth the small investment. My Fury finally got painted a little while back (4th of July actually), but it is now in the color sanding/polishing phase. I might have it back in the garage in a couple of week for the big reassembly. Did you get the Petrolhead magazine that I sent over? Did you ever buy that 57 Cadillac you went to look at? Glenn. ----- Original Message ----- From: a57fury@xxxxxxx To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ; goldenfin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, August 13, 2007 2:43 PM Subject: [GFS] Cars for sale All a friend of mine in Texas has 3 '57 Plymouths that he wants to sell.?
