George: Richard Main in California was fooling around with making the 56 Fury corners, but don't know what became of it. You might also try the guy in Vancouver, WA that I referred to in my email to Ron Swartley about having the studs welded on the corners. He specializes in stainless trim and might be able to make them for you a lot better than a die maker. You will find information on him on page 5 of the September/October 2006 GFS Newsletter. He did a really nice job for me. I would advise all 56 Fury (and possible 57 and 58's) to have threaded studs welded onto the corners. Then they will not come off or break. The reason the studs come off the original 56's is that the corner is stainless and the stud is plain soft iron. When corrosion takes over where they join, the stud breaks off. Then you will have to go to Helen Hunt for new ones. You know, if they come off, go to hell and hunt for new ones. Regards, John Teske P. S. If anyone wants to know how to screw up the front pump and drive sleeve on a Powerflite transmission, I can tell you how to do it. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
