Jack & others... I have reservations at the Double-Tree for Thursday & Friday night. Sure appreciate the planning regarding the good rate and good location set up for all of us for all of us to enjoy. Looking forward to meeting all of you. If time permits ...I will have the 1957 Plymouth Convertible, that I am striving to get back together after a total body off restoration, at the June 15, 2007 historical event. Its jet black and will have the sand dune side strip and white convertible top. It does have a few enhancements. It will be running the 392 Hemi set-up like the 300C of 1957 that was first tried by Hot Rod magazine back in 57. Incidentally this one was dyno'd on a SuperFlow SF-901 at Long Racing Engines, Irving, Texas and by Gross HP Standards came in around 390 HP at 5100 RPM. Max Long at www.longracingengines.com was great to work with and I would sure recommend him to anyone that wants a dyno run in or measure of HP. So you know the optional FP31 Fury engine will be on a stand right next to it and easily put back into the car should that be the thing to do. This engine will also be dyno'd at Long Racing Engines with I get through with a three angle valve grind and a critical check over. Also I will have pictures of the very nice 57 Fury that I plan on doing next. It was a good running Fury when I put it up on the jack stands in 1995 that will be totally restored with every effort to put it back to the way it was when it left the factory. This car has factory air conditioning, power brakes and no power steering. Like the rest of you...can't wait for June 15, 2006. Sure is nice to have something like this to look forward to.
