Hi:
 
    Regarding the intake manifold for the  270 vs 277 engine.  I looked at my 
parts book and there is no distinction  between those two engines as far as 
intakes are concerned.
 
    There is a standard manifold  1615886 for the 55-56 V8, and 1537723 for 
the 55 V8 with power  package.  Apparently there is no distinction as to engine 
size.  Just  to be sure, I hope you hear from someone who has one bolted to 
his  engine.
