Hi Ron, I just went down to look at my tank which is out of the car and couldn't find a part number on it - it could be near the sending unit, as my tank is scraped up near the edge of the unit, and the number might be obliterated. My parts manual shows P/N 1557 468 for years and cars you show for a 17 gal tank. There is a 17 gallon tank for Suburban's only, with a different P/N. Mine has a big, big dent in it. Does anybody have an extra one or know someone that has one? I am told it is interchangeable with 55 & 56 Plymouth or 55 & 56 Dodge. (Not Suburban station wagon) It is the 17 gallon size. Does anybody know if there are part numbers on gas tanks and if so where is the part number??????? Thank you in advance, Ron Swartley Archangel1390@xxxxxxx [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo! Groups Links ------------------------ Yahoo!
