If you ever find the schematic--it would be nice to have!

Mine appear cruddy but not rusty.  I had thought there WAS a rubber
dou-nut that rotted away.  I was about to have it replaced.  GREAT
TIMING!!!

  bottom with a place to grip it with a wrench is quite often very rusty.
