Re: [GFS] 57/58 POLY

For what it is worth, I took Brian's (since he is not a GFS member and
never
registered his car) VIN, Body & Engine #s and bashed it against our
Registry. His '58 is the 2nd earliest of the LA Fury's - so it is a VERY
early production item. However, his engine # is a "mid range" of the '57
Fury production run, i.e., of the 7400 Fury's produced in '57, the Furys
produced with body numbers in the 3500-4500 range have FP31s with engine
#s
close to Brian's.

For a definite solution to the puzzle, I echo Ed & John Paxos in
recommending getting your Build sheet from Chrysler Historical.

Regards,

Jack Lewis

this
is any proof of mix and match,, but his FLP8 casting is same as the 57s

if Brian has an early 58 he did get a FP31. BUIld Sheets will tell.
