According to page 14-43 in the 55-58 parts book the '56 Fury and '56
Chrysler 
gas tanks are NOT interchangeable.  The '56 Plymouth 20 gallon tank , same
as 
Fury gas tank, is #1632 788.  And the '56 Chrysler gas tank, doesn't say
what 
size, is # 1672 821.  It doesn't give you the difference.
