Subject: 1958 Fury fender side view mirrors

What is the correct part number for the fender side view mirrors on the 58 Fury.
Was it a dealer option and after market part.
I noticed a lot of the 58 Fury mirrors PN# 1772447 for sale but are they original equipment?
Also I noticed that the 55-56 Desoto side mirrors PN# 1615 are also for sale as a 58Fury mirror.
I'm confused.

There were two available from the factory. The dual strut, 1770071 and single strut, 1772447.

Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada		The vast majority of 57-58 Plymouths that I have seen have the single strut mirror.

Agreed!  And by way of "vast majority" the dual-struts actually look weird on '58 Plymouths!  Don't even consider the 55-56 mirrors.

1772447 are the only way to go!
