What are the correct dual carburetor numbers for 1958 318 poly v800 engine.

What I see listed is two different front/rear Carter WCFB pairs for the 1958 dual quad 318 :

2631S Front and 2632S rear (might be the 1957 version)

and

2761S front and 2762S rear (most likely the 1958 version)

Rebuild Kits:

Hope that helps a bit

Agree. Probably very similar to this early Corvette dual WCFB quad set up:

Thank you guys. I appreciate your help.

One other question. I read somewhere what
the v800 had was the dual carbs, special cam and dual exhaust
that gave it that 290hp. Is that correct?

There are a few flavours of 318 V800. The one you are talking about was the Dual Fury V800:

If you're not looking at an OEM resto type, a 318 LA dual point will bolt right in.

Was thinking more on the line of an aftermarket one for a 340.
