Hello, The trim 213 is Red Vinyl Bolster and Black “Woven Aire” Ventilating Vinyl Seat; It was optional trim for Belvedere Convertible and Custom Suburbans only; You can see it here, on the forum, on the second picture in the lower row: http://www.forwardlook.net/19571958Plymouth/58PlymouthOrderSheets.h... Expert Posts: 2335 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | . There are four engine codes offered for ’58 Plymouth: 370 - ENGINE – Dual Exhaust 372 - ENGINE – Dual Exhaust – 318CID 4BBL – Power Package 374 - ENGINE – Dual Exhaust – 350CID 2/4BBL 375 - ENGINE – Dual Exhaust – 350CID Fuel Injection Fury models only had dual exhaust 370 as standard equipment… Your car has NO any 37x codes, so I think it rolled off assemble line equipped with standard V8 318 2bbl 225hp engine…

Of course, you know readable optional codes on the card; If you are interested, a can add that route code 07 means delivered by DEALER OWN TRUCK; I guess, next “2” is an Accessory Group No. 312 (311 and 313 were standard on Belvederes): - Back Up Lights - Windshield Washer - Variable Speed Windshield Wipers Do you have these? An the last: Do you know what the last “7” is mean? (BS.jpg) Attachments ---------------- BS.jpg (116KB - 339 downloads)

Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 11163 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Lower Mainland BC | frwl - 2025-08-08 12:23 PM Your car has NO any 37x codes, so I think it rolled off assemble line equipped with standard V8 318 2bbl 225hp engine… I agree that there are no punches in Column 37 and no printed numbers above any of the 37x boxes. That said, would it not be possible or maybe likely that the base engine was the 6 cylinder, not the 2 bbl 318? Or was the base engine for a convertible, the V8? ???

For example, here shown another '58 Plymouth card, where its equipped with Power Pack 372 For those engine codes to be real, there has to be a) a punch in column 37 and b) a number printed above one of the 37x positions. A punch above one of the 37x position is NOT indication of the engine, that punch belongs to something in columns 11 to 21 or so. That 372 has a punch in position 2 in column 37 and "2" printed above the 372 box. Edited by 56D500boy 2025-08-08 5:56 PM
