Location: Cochrane, Alberta | For sale is a 1960 DeSoto adventurer 2 door that needs restoration. The car is very untouched and is the desireable 2 door push button transmission, swivel front seats383 car with power steering and power brakes in Bahamas blue.
The car is very solid with the exception of a 1 1/2” rust hole in the drivers floor, and the trunk floor which is fairly rotten as usual from an old failed trunk seal.
All of the trim is either on or in the car with the exception of the piece that goes on the passenger fender.
The trunk latch and lock is missing as they were drilled out and wrecked a long time ago. This car came out of an estate sale in western Canada and is located in Alberta.
The car has its original 383, transmission, rear axle, etc and is very untouched. The 383 is stuck but I’m currently soaking the cylinders to free it up and perhaps try and get it running.
An excellent starting point for a restoration of a desireable forwarded look car.
