For sale - 1955 Dodge

Posting for my father who is thinning out his collection and projects. The car is located in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.

1955 Dodge Coronet 2 door hardtop. The car is an original tri tone car - yellow black and white. It was a 270 poly head engine with standard 3 speed transmission.

My father located and completely rebuilt a 1955 270 hemi engine for the car which is now in the car mated to the standard transmission and runs off of a jerry can. The engine was bored, new pistons fitted, heads were gone through etc., it was properly rebuilt. A front disc brake kit has been installed, also included with the car is a hot heads adapter to mate the hemi to a 727 torqueflite.

The car has some small rust areas, but is completely repairable. My father has bought rust free sheet metal for over the rear wheels, it is ready to weld in.

The car was partial disassembled several years ago but should be all there. There are duplicates of most of the trim, grills and emblems including royal lancer trim. Included is an extra set of doors and trunk lid, maybe a spare hood? There is a new carpet kit and headliner to install. I beleive but am not 100% certain that there is a factory power steering setup that goes with it.

The car will need to have the front end sheet metal re installed, to be re wired, to have some rust repair, paint etc. I am fairly certain that all glass is good. I do believe there is current BC registration and title but you will need to confirm all details.

No, you cant drive it home but it is a fantastic project. I will post up some pictures in the next few days. $7,500.00 Canadian.

Here is a 1024 x 768(ish) .jpg (not .jpeg) version of your photo. Based on what I see, it definitely was a factory tri-colour, as you suggested.

Yes, I believe it is. There is actually what appears to be assembly line markings on the firewall behind one of the fenders with the three colors, black white yellow, or something to that effect.

As for the markings, I have tried to figure out what they meant:

I finally have some more pictures, also I forgot to mention that the seats have been reupholstered. I really don't have time to resize 25 pictures so that I can post them here. The car is in decent shape and a great project. If you are interested in seeing more pics send me a message and I will email you the pics. Location: So. Cal		You don't need to resize 25 of them. Just do 3-4 good pictures. You're going to need to resize them anyway if you intend to email them to anyone. Most emails are limited in size.
