Bring a trailer clientele typically prefer finished cars. I wouldn't expect it to get up to very high. I think Austin (the owner) may be better off trying to sell it on other venues, but we'll see. It would also have been smart to sand the rusted hood down a bit, apply rust converter, and spray a matte finish clear coat over that part for the pictures. It would make the patina look much more presentable that way.

Winning bid was $13,550.  Neat station wagon.  I really like the interior.  The floorpan patchwork was a bit worrisome though.  I understand the "numbers matching" 350 could be had with the wagon.

Yes, all '58 Firesweeps came with the 350 "Turboflash" engine as standard. A 4bbl powerpak for it was optional.
