Some time ago, I bought a 1956 Canadian dealer Dodge and Desoto Paint and Trim dealer sample/display "book" . I have previously
posted exerts from that book regarding the 56 Canadian Dodges but not the 56 Canadian Desotos.

Now I am posting exerts for the 56 Canadian Desotos. In reviewing this info, I realize that the Canadian Desoto trim options were very much low
key compared to the 56 US Desotos (no nice brocades in Canada, thank you very much)

That said, the 2dr and 4 dr hardtops (Special Closed Coupe and Special 4 dr Sedan, respectively) did get real leather. The three post 4dr sedans
got only fabrics, but three kinds (I don't know what the seat trim patterns were)
