I like the look of the 57 Mayfair. They seem hard to find.

Has anyone out there tried to 'simulate' one by attaching a Dodge front clip onto a Belvedere?
Would the Dodge parts bolt on to the Belvedere chassis without any major mods?
I realize that the trim details would still be a challenge - Mayfair scripts, trunk emblem, hubcaps and inst. cluster faceplate. I wouldn't try to pass it off as a true Mayfair - maybe a restomod tribute car with no Mayfair script?

I'm curious if this is possible and how hard would it be to do?

Yes, the Dodge front end will bolt onto the plymouth body without modifications.

Canadian Dodges, like a 57 Mayfair, were Plymouths from the firewall back.

Dodge front clip (fenders, grill, bumpers and hood) on an otherwise Plymouth body, chassis, etc = PLODGE.

And that was from the (Canadian) factory.
